My uncle, Larry, and his wife, Inger, came up for the long weekend to tile our upstairs bathroom! Here she is mid-project:This is Inger's specialty, so Larry assisted by cutting tiles and he also found various other random things around the house that had never been finished, such as the cover for the attic fan above the front stairway, and spackling the stairway leading down to the basement.

At one point I looked out the front window and saw a ladder leaning against the front of the house. Larry was on the roof, checking the leaky chimney cap! I asked Lenny to get a picture of that one. Notice me quickly heading back inside and my dad staring in amazement from the front lawn.

Inger didn't seem too surprised when I told her Larry was on the roof. And here's the finished tile. Isn't it fabulous?
