Somehow I'm still catching up on things that happened several days ago. I've been having technical difficulties at home and at work, so that must be why. So - Tuesday I convinced Lenny to meet me at First Beach after work (First Beach is the one closest to the Cliff Walk, on the way to downtown Newport) so we could get a lobster roll at the Snack Bar (this
is New England). My thoughts only got as far as it's summer warm out and the parking is still free. They did not get as far as it's a Tuesday in April and the Snack Bar isn't even going to be open. So, no lobster roll. But I took a couple quick pics.

Then after frozen pizza at home Lenny and I headed to Fall River to see Amy Correia (and Marc Cohn) at this very cool venue called the
Narrows. We got there right before it started and the place was packed so we were sitting way to the side in the back. After a couple songs I got up and stood in the back. I could see much better and was much happier at that point. :) Plus she did some newer, unrealeased songs so that was awesome. She completely won me over again, but her set was much too short (she was the opener). We stayed for most of Marc Cohn's set. The crowed was really into him, and he was somewhat into himself too. Funny guy though.
I'm glad you got to see Amy again and weren't disappointed.
