They recently came back from Amsterdam, in case you're wondering what his hat says. When you look at him straight on it says "TERD," which I think is hysterical.
A while ago we bought this special "Deidi wine" in anticipation of having them over for dinner. She is a HUGE Big Papi fan so when I saw this in a liquor store I had to get it. Of course, our Yankee/Red Sox rivalry is alive and well so we had to serve the Jorge Posada wine along with it.There is something very satisfying in being the hostess in our very own house. I am looking forward to many more guests, dinners, parties in the future. You are all invited, just not at the same time. (Oh and never fear, the house felt much warmer today.)

ReplyDeleteOur first meal, in our house, with friends was also wine and pizza. Difference was we had just closed, we weren't yet married, and the house was empty--I brought most of the furniture with me and I hadn't moved yet.
