More Wintry Fun

Yesterday was a balmy 37 degrees so I decided to go to the beach and look for sea glass. I only lasted 15 or 20 minutes but I found quite a bit. I had my camera with me, but it's not the most picturesque beach, so I drove over to another beach and was surprised to find quite a few cars there and even people in the water! So with camera in hand, I decided to take a few shots. Here is one of the paths from the parking area to the beach. It had been so windy that sand had covered the snow covering the sand. You can see snow through the footprints though.


These are some of the crazy people in the water, although I guess the water was warmer than the air and they were fully decked out in wetsuits.

I'm not sure what these guys were wearing as they were farther out, but I just couldn't believe they were even out there. You can see the snow far in the distance.

After about a minute in this last location, my fingers were so cold they were stinging, so I went home and made a cup of tea.
