So here's my week: Monday - we thought we (finally) had our Certificate of Occupancy for our new house; Tuesday - we found out there is (at least) one more hurdle to overcome; Wednesday - the cleaners came and cleaned every surface, drawer, cabinet, closet (Wonderful); Today (yes I know I skipped Thursday, but nothing really happened on Thursday) - our friend, Marc (a former professional Bethel mover), came over and helped Lenny start moving in furniture! Here they are moving our TV:
For those of you who don't know the logistics, our new house is on the other side of the barn/garage, so "moving" consists of carrying our stuff either from storage inside the barn or from my parents' house which is on this side of the barn in this photo. Needless to say, I think the whole process will go on for a few more weeks.
Tomorrow we're getting our new couches delivered! More photos to come.
So glad you're finally moving in! How exciting is that? It's a beautiful home for you. Have fun fixing it up and decorating over time.
