Last Sunday was the Golden Globes. I have never thrown a Golden Globes party (although it really is a funner awards show than the Oscars; is that heresy?), but it was a good reason to practice with the Reynolds star shapes I bought last year. I made star-shaped cheesecakes (from scratch!). The rest of my Golden Globes menu was Cosmos, honey barbecue chicken bites (from the frozen food section, just heat and eat, with golden tipped toothpicks, of course), and a pesto pizza (also from the frozen food section) that I topped with shrimp. Very easy and yummy. (Sorry the photos are a little blurry.)

all looks lovely ... especially the star-shaped cheesecakes. what were your thoughts on the GGs?
ReplyDeleteHmm. My thoughts on the GGs. I think the Hollywood Foreign Press loves Kate Winslet (and the British, in general). I felt bad for Anne Hathaway. I LOVE Emma Thompson. My favorite part of the whole show was her bit with that other British chick who won Best Actress for Comedy. I want to be her best friend. I'm curious to see what the Oscar noms are going to be as I haven't really seen many of these movies. I did love WALL-E.
